| I. Tahitian Dance and Cultural Classes |

Provide two to three, 3-hour,
beginner, intermediate and advanced Tahitian
Dance and cultural classes per week throughout
the year. |

Teach students traditional costume
making, which include:

Ti leaf, floral and greenery
head dresses and hip belts
Feather headdresses and hip belts
Natural grass and accouterments |

Teach Tahitian songs and language
to understand deeper cultural meaning. |
| • |
Coordinate outside events for
the youth to attend a ballet, theater performance,
opera, and other events that would expand
their artistic and cultural knowledge. |

Require parent and family participation
with training, costume making, community
events, performances, competitions and
the daily administration of the organization. |

| II. Empowerment Community
Center |
| • |
Our long-term goal
is to build a community center to serve
our youth, their families, and the community. |
| • |
We will conduct dance classes
in our mirrored studio as well as provide
cultural workshops for the whole community. |
| • |
Our center will have a separate
music room where students will be taught
how to play different musical instruments
(i.e. polynesian instruments such as “toere”, “pahu”, “faakete”, & “ukulele”,
as well as the piano, drums, and others.) |

We will provide tutoring for students. |
| • |
“Peer Mentoring”, “Positive
Choice”, and “Career Planning” Workshops
will be conducted to promote anti-drug
campaigns, prevent teenage pregnancy, encourage
academic and occupational excellence, and
advocate family unification. |

| III. Academic Excellence |
| • |
Students are required
to maintain a “C” grade average
in order to participate at national and
international competitions. |
| • |
Students are supported in their
academic goals through voluntary tutoring
by their peers or qualified tutors. |
| • |
Scholarships will be awarded in
the future to students who fulfill certain
academic requirements and complete assigned
volunteer community projects. |

| IV. Community/Non-Profit/Corporate
Events |
| • |
We perform and volunteer
at events for several non-profit organizations
throughout O'ahu such as: Hugs, Continental
Airlines Program, Fresenius Kidney Dialysis
Center, Miracle Children’s Network
Foundation, Maunalani Retirement Care Home,
Xerox Family Appreciation, Wahiawa and
Mililani Annual Christmas Parades, American
Cancer Society, Hawaii Foodbank, and community
based fundraisers such as Relay For Life
and Support Arianna Diaz. |

We perform at various Polynesian
cultural events, such as, Polynesian Cultural
Center Black Pearl Heiva, Aloha Tower Tahiti
Fete, and Bishop Museum’s Hawai'i
Visitors Bureau. |
| • |
We perform for small business
to large corporations throughout the Hawaiian
islands, such as: Wal-Mart, 24 Hour Fitness,
Beauty & the Beast World Strongman
Challenge, Mililani Town Center, Aloha
Tower Marketplace, Pearlridge Shopping
Center, Turtle Bay Hilton, Haleiwa Shopping
Center, and Castle and Cooke. |

| V. National and International
Competitions |
| • |
Manutahi enters group
and solo divisions at the national Tahitian
competitions on the Hawaiian islands of
O'ahu, Kauai, Maui and the Big Island of
Hawai'i. We also participate in the San
Jose, California competitions. |
| • |
Manutahi Soloists have competed
at the annual international solo competitions
in Tahiti. |

| VI. Fundraising |
| • |
Manutahi receives
monetary and in-kind public and private
contributions by companies and members
of the community. |
| • |
We also raise money for the group
through the sale of cookies, candy, chili
tickets, chicken and other edible items. |
| • |
Manutahi has an annual fundraising
benefit. |
| • |
We sell Manutahi Tahiti apparel
and other Polynesian crafts to raise funds
for the group. |
| • |
We accept donations at performances
for private functions and corporate events
throughout the island of O'ahu. |
